David Bridges

David Allen Bridges, age 60 of Crouse, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte.  He was born September 4, 1962 in Gaston County to the late Allen Daniel and Faye Ella Matheson Bridges.  David was a member of Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church.  He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing.  He was also a talented woodworker and enjoyed building things as well as working on cars.  David was an avid Washington Redskins fan.

He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Bridges Neal and husband, Ronnie and Susan Bridges Black and husband, John; and nephews and nieces, Ray Wright, Colt Coffey, Randy Black, Amy West, Cody Owens, Sam Helms, and O’Neal Helms.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Dr. Jaie Warlick and Rev. Butch Ross officiating.  Burial will follow at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 12:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
