Cynthia Fender

January 8, 1961 — February 25, 2015

Cynthia Gay Hyatt Fender, 54, of Easton Dr., died February 25, 2015 at her residence. She was born on Jan. 8, 1961 in Ft. Thomas, Ky, a daughter of the late Donald Rogers and Marie Gannell Thompson Hyatt.

Cindy was a member of the Lincolnton Church of God where she was active, along with her husband, in the Driven by Grace Biker Ministry. She was a graduate of Cleveland Community College and held an accounting degree from Queens College. She was Vice President of Rebuildable Cycles in Shelby, was an avid reader and motorcycle enthusiast, and found great pleasure in her dogs and cat.

She is survived by her husband Britt Fender, step daughter Angela Fender-Michael and husband John of Shelby, step granddaughter Alli Michael of Shelby, sisters Donna Hester and husband Dale of Lake Wylie and Teena Hester and husband Glenn of Lake Wylie, nieces and nephews Erik, Allison, Jordan, and Tory Hester.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at Lincolnton Church of God at 4 PM with Rev. Danny Houser officiating. The family will receive friends at the church after the services. Burial will be private in the Fender Family Cemetery.
