Claudia Hatcher

Claudia Keever Hatcher, age 77, of Philbeck Street, passed away August 20, 2019 Wendover Hospice, Shelby. She was born in Lincoln County on May 29, 1942, daughter of the late Junior Ledwell and Nellie Lee Ledwell. Claudia worked in textiles and enjoyed daily walks and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Grover Junior Hatcher; sons, John Hamrick and Tommy Hamrick; brother, Carroll Keever; sister, Iva Frances Ivy.

Claudia is survived by her children, Kenny Hamrick, Harold Hamrick (Jamie), Melissa Bumgardner (Jacob), Melinda Rochester (Eddie), Bobby Hatcher, and Chris Hatcher. 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

To celebrate her life, the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm, Friday August 23, 2019 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services, Cherryville, NC.
