Carolyn Brown

Carolyn Elaine Eaker Brown, age 75 of Eaker Rd., passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Atrium Health – Lincoln.  She was born October 24, 1946 in Cleveland County to the late Quentin Lloyd and Ruby Ida Neill Eaker.  Carolyn was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  She retired from Carolina Freight.  Carolyn was a member of North Brook Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Bob Brown; children, Chris Brown and wife, Diane, Suzie Goins and husband, Marty, and Joe Brown; grandchildren, Ashley and husband, Chad, Amanda, Alisha, Alex, Zach, Sam, Hannah, and Shy; great grandchildren, Bailey and Noah; and brother, John Eaker and wife, Tooter.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 3:00 PM at North Brook Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Bob Wise and Rev. Dr. Steve Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
