Bonnie Wilkinson

Bonnie Mae Wilkinson, 91, of N. Cherry St., died Jan. 27, 2015 at Hospice at Wendover. She was born on June 9, 1923 in Cleveland Co., a daughter of the late Curtis Randus and Callie Mae London Walker. Bonnie was a member of Second Baptist Church and retired from Sweetree and Doran Mills.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband A. Baine Wilkinson, grandson Slade Wilkinson, brothers, Dwight, Tom, Bruce, Fred, and Jay Walker and sisters Mary Stone, Ruth Crowder, Ruby Walker, and Lucy Hartman.

Survivors include her son Steve Wilkinson and wife Becky of Cherryville, grandson Shea Wilkinson and wife Susan of Cherryville, two great grandsons Austin and Cain Wilkinson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 PM at Second Baptist Church with Rev.Jerry Lail officiating with burial in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday at the church Fellowship Hall from 1:30 - 2:45 PM.
