Beulah Jackson Sain Mears, age 86, formerly of Crouse, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation. She was born May 2, 1932 in Cleveland County to the late Fred Pinkney and Nancy Beer Jackson. Beulah was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and retired from Burris Industries of Lincolnton. She enjoyed crafting and playing Bingo. She was also an excellent cook and loved gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Sain; second husband, James Mears; daughter, Caron Hendrick; son, David Sain; grandson, Jeff Thomas; and siblings, Marvin, John, Margaret, and Nadine Jackson.
Survivors include her children, Dickie Jackson and wife, Deana, Haroldean Sain, Randy Sain, Mike Sain and wife, Donna, Ann Brown and husband, Todd, and Nancy Mears; seventeen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Robert & Joann Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at Mike and Donna Sain's house, 397 Old Lincolnton Crouse Rd, Lincolnton.
