Belinda Baker

Belinda Shrewsbury Baker, 54, of Deerwood Trail, died along with her son, Michael Paul Baker, on August 8, 2022 from injuries of a car accident.

She was born on July 15, 1968 in Beckley, WV, a daughter of the late Linda Sue Light Vandall and Paul Michael Shrewsbury. She was a caregiver to many and missed her Mother greatly. Belinda found great pleasure in her grandbabies, the mountains, hummingbirds, fishing and especially Sunday family dinners.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Michael Shrewsbury.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-four years, Glenn Edward Baker; children, Amberly Nicole Baker (Adam Burgin), Jessica Grace Baker (Doug Reyburn), and Edward Lewis Baker (Alexis); grandchildren, Spencer Elijah Swink, Braedon Lane Houser, Allison Nicole Baker, Skyler Marie Baker, Logan Seth Baker and Landon Burgin; stepfather, Leland Vandall; sister, Paula Oxentine; and mother-in-law, Doris Faye Baker.

Graveside services will be held for her and her son on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Rev. Alan Wheeler officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday at

Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services from 9:30-10:00 AM.
