Aurelia Vanicek-Pressley

Aurelia Agatha Swanberg Vanicek-Pressley, age 84, of Hillside Drive, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born February 5, 1938 in Paterson New Jersey to the late Charles and Aurelia Belinski Swanberg.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick Vanicek, and second husband, Howard Hall Pressley.

Survivors include her children, Gene Vanicek and wife Tami of Lincolnton, and Frederick Vanicek and wife Paula of New Port; grandchildren, Christine Byrd, Joseph Vanicek, Jennifer Vanicek, Christopher Smith, and Larissa Jene Vanicek; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Noah, Blake, Levi, Ronnie, Ashla, Elliot, and Lincoln.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 28, 2022 at Carpenter Porter Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Eddie McGinnis officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Committal services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 28, 2022 at Forest Lawn West, Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Pentecostal Center, 320 Ralph Hansel Blvd. Stanley, NC 28164.
