Ann Mathis

Ann Irene Farrell Mathis, age 61 of Harrelson Rd. passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center.  She was born October 13, 1960 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to Marsha Leigh Grooms Farrell and the late Roba H. Farrell.  She was retired from Timken.  Ann was a member of First Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed traveling and was a very helpful person always wanting to help others.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Douglas Mathis.

In addition to her mother, Marsha Farrell, she is survived by her stepson, Brian Mathis; brother, Rusty Farrell and wife, Laura; niece, Elizabeth Farrell; and numerous other relatives.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Bill Lowe officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
