Ana Traveria

Ana Maron Traveria, age 88 of St. Mark's Church Road, formerly of Miami, FL, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 on her 88th birthday at Carolinas Healthcare System - Cleveland. She was born March 30, 1929 in Havana Cuba to the late Jose Maron and Maria Lopez del Castillo Maron. She was formerly employed at Miami Dade Water and Sewer. Ana attended Home Economics School in Cuba. She was an excellent cook, who enjoyed reading, music, old movies, and crocheting. She had a green thumb and loved gardening. Ana's greatest passion was caring for her family and being a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rogelio I. Traveria; brothers, Jose Maron and Samuel Maron; and sister, Maria Maron Wallace.

Survivors include her three sons, Roy Traveria and wife, Beth of Canton, OH, Daniel Traveria and wife, Maxine of Southport, NC, and Carlos Traveria and wife, Denise of Crouse, NC; sister, Noemi Maron-Baldwin of Falls Church, VA; grandchildren, Rory, Aaron, and Andrew Draime, Kayla Ray, Danielle Browning, Lt. Carlos S. Traveria, and Sierra Herndon; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 3:00 PM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Rev. Glenn Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
